One early morning in Davao Light Office

Early this morning, my laboratory head asked me to pay his light bill at DLPC main office in Ponciano.

It has been a long time since I’ve gone to the Davao Light Office. Now, it was well painted and modernize.

While waiting for my turn to pay to the cashier, I noticed a ‘not so old man’ keep on looking into his wallet and checking the content on it.

Suddenly, the cashier asks her if what he’s looking for. “Nawala ako kwarta pambayad og suga” he answered nervously.

Then, a man (I think he’s the supervisor) from the cashier’s office asked him if how much. “Two thousand pesos”, he replied, seeing on his face with optimism.

The old man was then asks to proceed to the office for verification.

It’s my turn to pay the bill and my mind keep on looking to the old man as he talks to the officer.

I’ve learned that the money was found to an emplyer of the company.
