Dodong Henry was able to watch Vince de Jesus ‘Karaoke Dreams’ last October 14 & 15, 2008 at the Garden Oases Resort and Restaurant.
He watched it twice to observed and learned things relevant to theater play. With him are his colleague from SJTPYA Angelo, Daryl & Ems.
Written by Palanca awardee Vince de Jesus and Directed by Maribel Legarda, Karaoke Dreams is about three Filipinos who have always wanted to work abroad and finally decide to pursue this dream.
One of them, Julie Nahuli hopes to become singer but becomes a victim of trafficking. Her friend Isko Nabisto successfully gets a job overseas but decides to stay on after his visa expires. Rudy Natsugi gets his passport and visa from a friend but realize later that his travel documents are fake.
After the play, he was able to get acquainted with the director of the musical play, Ms. Maribel Legarda.
Upon going out, we took photos at the entrance gate of Garden Oases.

The musical comedy is produced with the support of the European Union through the Philippine Border Management Project and the International Organization for Migration.
